Privacy at CHOUAL

CHOUAL uses account, training, recovery, nutrition, device and support information to provide and improve the CHOUAL training experience. CHOUAL does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Information you choose to provide

This can include your account email, profile, goals, training history, workouts, progress, recovery check-ins, nutrition logs, preferences, Coach conversations, support requests and information you choose to import from supported health platforms.

Health and fitness data

Apple Health and Health Connect data is accessed only after you grant the relevant device permission. CHOUAL uses permitted data to support recovery, training and progress features. Health information is not used for advertising.

Payments

Web payments are intended to be processed by Stripe. Native subscriptions may be processed by Apple or Google. CHOUAL stores subscription and entitlement records needed to provide access, but payment card details are handled by the applicable payment provider.

AI Coach

CHOUAL may use relevant account, training, recovery, nutrition and conversation context to provide Coach responses. CHOUAL Coach is a fitness and performance tool and is not a medical diagnosis service.

Data control

You can export CHOUAL account data and initiate permanent account deletion from Preferences → Privacy and Data. A public deletion resource is also available at choual.ca/delete-account.

Security and retention

CHOUAL uses access controls, authenticated requests and database security policies to protect account data. Information may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal, tax or accounting obligations.
